Still on the path of delivering service to humanity, Lions International, District 404B4 Nigeria, Region 10, organised free eye care for officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and FRSC Special Marshals in Ibadan on the 21st of September 2024.
Led by the Region 10 Chairperson Lion Olufemi Phillips, and Lion Oluomo Babatunde Adeshina MJF NLCF, President Mokola Heritage Lions Club and their team of D404B4 Lions, the week long exercise featured free eye test/screening, donation of eyeglasses, medication and treatment of FRSC officials and special marshals with various eye challenges. Free surgeries for 10 people were also carried out on those who had threatening eye problems.
The District Governor Lion Taiwo Fatoki MJF NLCF was there for the exercise, and he said, “Good vision is essential for personal and professional development. This exemplifies our commitment to making quality eye care accessible to all,”
He further explained that the initiative is part of Lions International’s area of focus.
